Lyst can keep a count of how many shoppers have each product in a wishlist and store it on the product, so your theme can display it as social proof.
Turn it on in Settings > General > Wishlist Count on Products; it is off by default. When you turn it on, the counts are first calculated from your existing wishlists and then kept up to date in the background.
A count goes up when a shopper saves a product and down when they remove it; automatic cleanup of old wishlists never lowers it. The setting shows the snippet to display the count in your theme. Turning it off stops updates and leaves the stored counts on your products.
Available on the Unlimited plan. The count inside the wishlist buttons and the "Saved by N shoppers" line use this data.
