Customers can switch a saved product to another variant right in the wishlist, without visiting the product page.

Change variant appears on the wishlist page and in the sidebar product menu for products with more than one variant. The dialog lists the variants with image and price, and sold out variants cannot be picked.

The wishlist then keeps the product with the newly chosen variant, and a Variant changed notification can confirm it.
